Instructions
Heat water until it feels warm to the touch — never boiling. High heat destroys the active enzymes in lemon juice and ginger.
Squeeze half a lemon directly into the cup. Use a small strainer if you want to remove the seeds.
Add one teaspoon of grated fresh ginger or ginger powder and stir well for about 30 seconds.
If you're adding honey, wait until the water has cooled slightly before adding it, to preserve its natural properties.
