Creamy Avocado Salsa
This creamy avocado salsa recipe is the perfect Mexican Salsa for tacos, flautas, or even as a dip! To be true I even love it as a dressing for my salads. This avocado salsa is made without tomatillos and it tasted like a creamy, rich thick dip. Spectacularly delicious. Even on top of your nachos!

With avocado salsa you can dip flautas de pollo! Tostitos, carrots, cucumber, jicama, or even chips. You can put this avocado salsa on top of your nachos! Avocado salsa is actually really healthy. Avocado is full of healthy fats and vitamins and you might not know but chiles like jalapeno and serrano are fruits, no vegetables and they are rich in vitamin C.
One of the biggest concerns is how long does avocado salsa last? we all get upset when avocado turns brown. Let me tell you a secret. Cow milk helps to prevent the avocado from turning brown. There are other things that I have seen people doing like living the avocado seed of bone inside the salsa or guacamole. Other people like to use lime which I hate because it really turns the flavor around. Milk helps you with the creamy texture and keep the original flavor of the avocado. For me, milk works fine. The salsa might turn a little darker on the top but when you serve just mix it with the rest and it will be gone.
How to keep avocado salsa or guacamole from turning brown?
Creamy avocado salsa has milk in the ingredients which prevents it from turning black but still avocado does not last too long. You will see after a day some water on top of the salsa. Just get rid of the water and mix it with a spoon. I can last up to three days in the fridge. I will recommend making it the same day you are eating eat. Especially if you are taking it as a dip to a party.
HOW TO MAKE CREAMY AVOCADO SALSA
All the ingredients for this salsa are used raw which makes it super easy and fast to make. All you will need is a blender and the next ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 garlic clove
- A handful of cilantro / Coriander
- 1 serrano
- 1 Jalapeno
- 1/4 teaspoon of Salt
Place all the ingredients in the blender starting with the milk. Blend all together until liquify, taste and add more salt if needed. Serve!
