Protein Powder Oatmeal: 30g of Protein to Start Your Day Right
Español If you want to start your day with 30 grams of protein, this delicious oatmeal is your answer. This protein powder oatmeal recipe keeps you full all morning, supports gut health, and — most importantly — tastes amazing.

It took me a while to perfect the technique so the milk wouldn’t curdle with the protein powder or leave lumps. The secret? Mix the protein powder with the milk and water before adding anything else, make sure it’s fully dissolved, and let everything come to a boil together. Also, make sure your protein powder is heat-safe. My go-to is unflavored Isopure.

Ingredients
- 4 heaping tablespoons of rolled oats
- 1 cup skim or 2% milk
- ½ cup water
- 1 scoop protein powder of your choice (25g protein per serving)
- ½ pear, diced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 pecans halves
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add the milk, water, and protein powder. Whisk well until the protein powder is completely dissolved with no lumps.

- Add the oats, diced pear, and cinnamon stick.

- Bring everything to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and stir occasionally until you reach your desired consistency — about 4 minutes.

- Serve warm and enjoy!
Bonus tip: Next-day parfait
I like to split this into two portions and save one for the next morning. Let it cool completely, then top it with ½ cup of Greek yogurt — it turns into a creamy, thick parfait. Add a sprinkle of granola or chopped walnuts and you’ll have the easiest grab-and-go breakfast of your week.
