Red Onions with Lime and Soy Sauce (Taqueria-Style Topping)

Español There’s nothing quite like red onions seasoned with soy sauce, lime, and oregano to go with a good plate of carne asada tacos.

Honestly, I can’t imagine eating tacos without onions. That crunchy, tangy, flavor-packed bite combined with a juicy arrachera, ribeye, or sirloin… there’s just nothing better.

I do have my classic pickled red onions with vinegar that I love for potato tacos, but when it comes to grilled meat tacos, these taqueria-style red onions with lime and soy sauce are always the winner.
