Juicy Ground Turkey Patties with Chipotle

Español Today I’m sharing one of my secret recipes: juicy ground turkey patties with a Mexican twist. These patties are perfect when you want to eat a little lighter, get some real protein on the plate, and still enjoy big flavor.

Now, you probably know turkey meat is super lean. That means it can get dry if you don’t show it a little cariño. My secret? Chipotle peppers for smoky flavor, plus a touch of mayo or avocado oil to keep the patties moist and tender.

How to Serve Them

Here’s how I serve them at home: for me, I put the patties on top of a fresh salad and add a spoon of my homemade molcajete salsa for that spicy kick. For my kids, I just slide the patties into burger buns with their favorite toppings — and suddenly dinner feels like a treat.

  • On top of a salad with salsa molcajete — my favorite lighter way.
  • Inside burger buns for the kids (or for yourself when you want comfort food).
  • Wrapped in lettuce or tortillas for a fun taco-style dinner.

Personal Note

For me, this recipe has been part of my journey to eat more balanced while keeping my Mexican sazón on the table. I love that I don’t have to cook separate meals for myself and my kids — one recipe works for all of us. And trust me, nobody complains when burgers are involved.
