3 NEW Smoothies to Cleanse Your Colon

Español I know many of you have been asking since I came back to posting on my YouTube channel: “Laura, do you have any new recipes to cleanse the colon?” And today I’m bringing you exactly that — three juices I’ve never shared on the channel before, made with simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.

1

What makes these three juices special is that each one has a different purpose. Before choosing which one to drink, read the description of each to find the one that best fits what your body needs right now.

Why cleanse the colon? The colon accumulates waste over time, and that can cause inflammation, persistent fatigue, and difficulty losing weight. These juices work differently from one another, so I’ll explain which one is right for you depending on your situation.

For Constipation: Kiwi and Cucumber Juice

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe kiwi (peeled)
  • ½ cucumber
  • 2 cups cold water

Preparation Blend the kiwi and cucumber with the water until smooth. You can drink it cold or at room temperature, preferably in the morning.

Kiwi is an extraordinarily high-fiber fruit that contains actinidin, an enzyme that helps improve protein digestion, promotes intestinal movement, and reduces abdominal bloating.

4

For Inflammation: Pineapple, Ginger, and Turmeric Juice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • 1 orange (juiced)
  • 3 pinches of turmeric
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 celery stick

Preparation Remove the skin from the pineapple and cut one cup into small chunks. Peel the ginger and cut a piece about the size of your thumbnail. Squeeze the orange juice directly into the blender, add the rest of the ingredients, and blend.

Drink in the morning, preferably before breakfast. Do not take it more than three times a week and alternate with other recipes.

3

The Happy Liver Smoothie: Beet, Apple, and Carrot The most powerful

Ingredients

  • ½ medium beet
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 carrot
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 cups of water

Preparation Peel the carrot and beet. Blend or run all ingredients through a juicer. Drink a maximum of 3 times per week — it is very powerful and your body needs time to process the detox.

This juice works on the liver and the intestine at the same time. Beet stimulates bile production, which is the body’s natural mechanism for cleansing the intestine. That’s why many naturopaths call it “the happy liver juice.”

Which one will you try first?

Tell me in the comments which of the three juices best fits what you need. And if you know someone who could benefit — a friend, your mom, your sister — share this recipe with her.
